Print out or photocopy the scrambled word list below. Give one to each party attendee. Give them about 5 minutes to unscramble the words. | MOTHER-TO-BE'S
WAIST SIZE GAME Pass a ball of string or ribbon and a pair of scissors around the group. Each attendee cuts off a piece of string or ribbon the length they think is the closest to the mother-to-be's waist size. The mom-to-be then tries on each string. The attendee who gets the closest is the winner. (Lots of fun for coed showers)

GRAB
THE CLOTHES PINS Get a section of cord and have an attendee hold each end, stretched tight. Place about 20 clothes pins on the line. Have each attendee remove as many pins as they can while still holding them in ONE hand. When someone drops one, they are out. Attendee who can hold the most is the winner.

BABY
PRODUCT LOGOS GAME Cut out some of the more popular baby product logos minus the brand name. Paste them on a sheet of card board. Number the logos. Have attendees try to give the brand names for each. The attendee who names the most wins.

FOOD TASTE TEST This is a game where you surely want to have your camera handy! Buy about a half dozen small jars of baby food. Cover the labels with tape and number each one. Pass out small paper plates and plastic spoons to each attendee. Have attendees take a tiny sample of each food and put on their plates and number each. The person who names the most kinds of baby food wins. The camera is for the funny looks on the faces of your tasters.

GUESS
THE BABY You need to preplan for this game. In your invitation ask each attendee to bring one of their own baby pictures. Take a sheet of cardboard and make slits in it for the number of guests. As each arrives take their pictures and place a corner in a slit to hold it. Place a number next to each photo. Leave the cardboard in view for most of the party so people can look at the photos. Near the end have people write down who they think each baby is.

GIFT
IN A BOX Get several small boxes. Put a different baby gift in each that will rattle around inside. Have the attendees guess what is in the box by shaking it. The new mom gets to keep the items.

ANIMALS GAME Give each attendee a game sheet and have them circle the correct name for the baby animal. The person getting the most right answers wins. Questions: 1. A baby goat is a calf, kid or a chick? 2. A baby swan is a duckling, cygnet or a cub? 3. A baby cow is a calf, puppy or a foal? 4. Baby sheep are calf, kids, or lambs? 5. A baby owl is a chick, owlet or a cygnet? 6. A baby cat is a calf, puppy or kitten? 7. A baby bear is a puppy, cub or kid? 8. A baby elephant is a whelp, cub or a calf? 9. A baby donkey is a foal, fry or calf? 10. A baby deer is a foal, fawn or fry? 11. Baby fish are cygnets, fry or chicks? 12. A baby giraffe is a calf, foal or a cub? 13. A baby monkey is a kitten, infant or whelp? (The answers are: 1. kid 2. cygnet 3. calf. 4. lamb. 5. owlet. 6. kitten 7. cub. 8. calf. 9. foal. 10. fawn. 11. fry. 12. calf. 13. infant.)

DECORATE
THE T-SHIRT GAME Give each attendee a plain white baby t-shirt and some puff paint. Have each attendee do their own fun design. This will make lots of t-shirts for the new baby. OR Get a regular adult t-shirt and a permanent marker. Let each attendee write some advice for the new mom and give her the t-shirt.
