Toddler beds

A toddler bed is the bed you transition your child into after they become too big for a crib. This is about the 2 1/2 yr old stage. It is a little smaller than a twin bed and usually comes with some sort of side bars or is in the shape of an object like a car, boat, princess bed, fire truck, etc. Toddler beds are set lower to the ground, use a standard size crib mattress and sheets. You can take the mattress out of the crib and use it in the toddler bed. Be sure this is a sturdy bed because at this age your child will be jumping and wrestling on that bed so you want it to be safe. There are as many styles and patterns of bedding sets for toddler beds as there are for the crib. They are a little more mature in nature. You can get beds in a lot of themes like Thomas Train or race car. You won't have any problem getting room decor items for this age child. Any number of stores have theme items. You can go to a desk with top shelves as that is good for the child to grow into. Believe it or not at 3 and 4 years old you might want to purchase a computer desk.
