Toy Chest There are
a multitude of toy chest styles. The most important feature to look
for in a toy chest is a slam proof lid. It must have a catch that prevents
it from falling on the child's head when open. You can get boxes that
you can use as a place to sit besides holding toys. They come in lots
of types and colors of wood. Some match a total set of room furniture.
Be sure the chest has a large area for storage. As a grandmother I found
small toy chests just don't hold the toys and next thing you know you
have toys in baskets, and other places in the room because the toy box
is already full. I luckily found a large wicker toy chest. It can't
be used to sit on but the lid is paper light, stays up and holds a truckload
of toys. Finally I don't have toys all over the floor. |
